Celebrities all across the nation walked side by side with children and families as part of the March for Our Lives movement on Saturday.

Marchers held demonstrations in Washington, D.C., Los Angeles, Chicago and hundreds of other cities in protest of gun violence and mass shootings, such as the Feb. 14 massacre at a high school in Parkland, Florida, which left 17 people dead.

Prior to the marches, Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, Ariana Grande, Cher and countless others voiced their support for the movement. Oprah Winfrey, Taylor Swift and George and Amal Clooney have also donated thousands to the cause.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West posed for pics at the Washington D.C. march. The two were joined by Common and Vic Mensa.

Paul McCartney walked the streets of Manhattan, New York, in a black tee that read “We can end gun violence.” In an interview with CNN, the iconic Beatles singer expressed why it was important for him to participate.

“One of my best friends was killed in gun violence right around here, so it’s important to me,” he expressed, remembering his Beatles bandmate John Lennon.
